Oops No Frames today...

Just a quick card...
I know I'm getting away from the frames and I do have more to show and something real exciting on Mon, just have no pics YET!
I found this card here, Mickeys card is so much better but I didn't have this set....Yet!
I also used hairspray instead of adhesive spray, I made several this was the first and I went a little overboard with the hairspray a quick spray will keep that sneaky glitter in it's place!!

Have a Good Weekend!

Frames Frames Frames Everywhere!

Does this look like you, pick up a frame here, find a great deal there?
Well I really have more than is shown, these were the ones I pulled out. All were under 3$.
Our weather this weekend was perfect for stamping , soups and a nap...you think I was that lucky, No!
Except for the stamping...Mountains and Mountains of laundry were barking at me, clean me clean me, no nap. But, I did fix a meat filled chili on Sunday so Yummy.
So Wed I will have a video showing how to change your frames out for the seasons the first will be on fall and winter with some holidays thrown in.
Quick and easy wall art for your home or as a gift.
Here's what I did this weekend with some of those frames.
Some Non SU stamps used.
I used a technique I learned from Faith Clark, if you are a Demo who has access to the workshop wows from convention she is a presenter and shows this technique.
Very Easy with a WOW!
Happy Monday!

No smudges please!

This was my second take on doing this card. After cutting the mask for the first I discover my mask was to thin and the ink bled through. So going through and cutting another thicker mask and redoing the card. Finished, I go to glue and apply to it's base and
Smudge!
Had ink on my fingers.
Thankfully I hid it with my trusty Watermark, yep it's under there.
So if you need one of those Michelle at Laycock will do just that if that's all you need.

Tips of the day...make sure your mask is thick enough not to bleed and your hands stay clean.
Happy Wednesday!

Hollly Jolly

Notice the Shimmer all over the card!!!
Well I go to a Shoe Box Swap every other Wed with some other Demos and this past week I made this simple and easy card using the grid technique.
Well Lisa Freeman that's whose house we all go to
had 2 of the shimmer paints in bottles of alcohol to spritz her card....these ladies are a hoot, we all started to spritz all our cards to check out the effects. I have to tell you they all just turned out adorable.
We used the Champagne and the Frost White shimmers.
So for and impact to your Holiday or an Elegance to any card add some shimmers.
I think it just few oz. of alcohol with a few drops of the shimmers paint in a spray bottle.
Spray your whole card...dries quickly.
Happy Monday

Can a Dradle have Merry on it? & Sam's stupid ways!

Do you know the answer to that question?
I came across this quite by accident by running a punched ornament through my Merry Emboss lit. I actually had other plans for this card but thought the dradle was to too cool.
Then colored a white 5/16 brad with a dark blue sharpie

I read a good blog business article the other day and because I want a good Business blog I am opening my comments back up. My thinking was to lighten my load and make things a little easier, by not running to my computer everyday to see if any have commented, cause who doesn't like comments and want their heads a little expanded.
I've been doing my blogging on Sundays nights these past weeks, set my posts up, answer e-mails, respond to comments. That way I am not tied to the computer all week. So on that note I will keep things the way they have been these past weeks, but with my comments open and will get back to you after the beep...which will be this Sunday.
Don't forget to ask for my free class in the for sale & class section.
Have a Good weekend.
