1 Reader!!!!

Woo Hooo!!! I have one reader.
Thanks Melissa I know it was you, knew you couldn't resist.
Melissa is my upline (LOVE HER) shes also still my teacher. I went to her house today, (all of her 1 downline were invited) to make pyramid books.

I told her I had just uploaded my first card on Splitcoast and she wanted to see. Of coarse my blog link is in my personal profile, and I told her it, my blog, is so new not to look yet.

Here's a gift i gave her, just because: It' the paper beads.

Accordion Wallet!!

Here's my Accordion Wallet, I was looking for a better way to give gift cards with a little extra something. I gave one of these to my sons teacher, with a gift card to Barnes and Nobles and some bookmarks. I'm a big reader and I'm always losing my bookmarks. So a few extra are always nice.

Here's how I did it, it can always be re sized, with the same concept, for other items, tea bags Etc:

  • Cut a 4 3/4 by 4 in Square- Make 4
    Score Across 4 3/4 side down 1 1/4 & 3 1/2

  • Score across 4 in side at 3 1/2

  • Cut small rectangles at corners made by scores

Snail adhesive outside one flap & inside smaller rectangle piece

Sticky tape 3 of the pockets-right down the center on one side of the pocket

  • Over piece 2 1/2 by 11in
  • Score 3 1/2 & 3 3/4 and 7 1/2 & 7 3/4

Tape 3 1/2 side to top of accordion

Tape whole over piece to accordion, UNLESS embellishments or closures for flap are needed.
Then tape laterFlap can be cut to desired length
Closures can be anything Velcro, buttons hodgepodge etc.
Have fun hope to see what every one can come up with!!!

First splitcoast upload

You just don't know how exciting this is for me. I have been viewing Splitcoaststampers for a little over a year now. And I have finally uploaded my own card.

Go see what I'm talking about , you will find all kinds of great cards and gift ideas. Here's the card I uploaded, it was for my local demo swap.

Gifts for teachers

These were photos in my old blog that we gave to my daughters teachers.

Lilli just graduated from pre-school
and she puts her hands on her hips and says "Mom how am I going to have my girlfriend to talk to, there's no more school" Gawd! am I in trouble when she goes to kindergarten!

First Blog Post!

Here it goes my first official blog post, care to come along my journeys as a brand new Stampin Up demo. Wish me luck!
My husband calls this my experimental computer, all the fun and frustration of starting a blog. I think I can take it apart and put it back again. I'm going to need another soon, just have so much fun destroying this one.

Here's a card I have done for a swap for our local Demo's meeting.
